latest addiction

is granny squares... i've seen so many lovely projects out in blogworld that i just had to give these splendid little squares a try...IMG_1053

i have about 20 squares completed and would love to make a 100 square blanket with them all.... i'm convinced this will be an easy thing to achieve while i nurse the little guy... if this isn't possible please don't burst my bubble... :)

a baseball season sneak peak my favorite time the of year is baseball season. just love it! last week i went down to AT&T Park with my dad for Giants Fan Fest and while the lines were terrible, it was a good afternoon spent at the ballpark with my dad and it gave me a nice little dose of the upcoming season. i also got a good laugh from their 3rd baseman Pablo Sandoval when I lifted my shirt for him to sign my belly instead of handing him a baseball... i didn't really have him sign it, just looking for a smile...

happy love day! i'm not one for valentine's day gifts and big elaborate dates.... i just love the pink and red colors, all the yummy treats and the decorations. so we are having a mellow day today. the hubby is at work and i am watching Enchanted (amy adams is so cute) and crocheting and making a roast for dinner. i made some cupcakes last night and then these gooey cinnamon rolls for breakfast. also, had to make a valentine's themed granny square for today. hope your day is just the way you like it.
